Don’ts:
- Don’t photograph somebody in immediate danger or someone in a less fortunate position: Try to be ethical and avoid taking advantage of the less fortunate or those in immediate danger.
- Don’t forget your own personal safety: Always practice your own safety, keep a safe distance from the street, and be aware of your surroundings.
- Don’t lie about what you are doing: Always tell the truth if someone asks what you are doing or if you took a photo of them. It can prevent trouble and help you avoid getting caught up in lies.
- Don’t be afraid: Fear is natural when starting to make street photographs, but people are more accepting of making photographs if you are genuine and truthful about what you are doing. Take risks, and trust yourself.
