When you have a creative mind like photographer Jake Ashe, you get crazy ideas for Halloween. Spooky costumes and decorations just didn’t cut it for him. Instead, he decided to go the extra mile and work some magic by creatively light painting his friend’s classic Ford Falcon. The result is absolutely stunning:
The image is a 15-second exposure that Ashe took with his Sony A7SIII and Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 lens. He achieved the effect by running past the car holding a Nanlite Pavotube light.
Everything in the image gives a strong Halloween vibe, whether it’s the spooky car, the fiery reflection or the trees in the background. Sometimes, it even appears like a carved pumpkin—spooky, right? You could even say the car resembles a black hole, thanks to the light bending around it. Then there’s the reflection underneath, making the water look like it’s on fire.
