It is not always necessary that things start rolling downhill when you get lost during an adventure trip. Sometimes your luck may take you to a place that is even more spectacular. That happened when photographer Joe Clarke was traveling through the Isle of Skye in Scotland. He came across a forest and what he was able to capture there is simply spectacular:
Clarke took the image on a Canon 5D Mark III at 16mm f/5.6 and ISO 200. While the scene is truly marvelous at first glance, it looks even more beautiful the longer you look at it.
What do you think that formation is in the middle of the image? At first, some may confuse it for a shipwreck. The misty atmosphere also gives an illusion that the image was shot underwater. After all, everything is covered in a thick layer of moss. In reality, it is a perfect arrangement of trees that fell victim to the adverse weather conditions common in Skye.
It’s really great when you come across something that’s mesmerizing like this in an unexpected manner. It takes the adventure to a whole new level. Wouldn’t you be excited if you came across after getting lost?
