Freedom. These suburbians are doing it right:
This Independence Day, photographer Scott Quentin Stedman‘s neighbors put on quite a fireworks show in their Southern Californian suburb.
“The neighbors were launching [artillery shells] off in 30 second increments and then sprinting off for cover so they’re blended for maximum Freedom,” he said.
To capture the spectacle, Stedman set his DSLR and Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens to 11mm and f/4.5 and used a remote trigger to fire his Yongnuo YN560-III speed flash, which he placed in front of the chair and off to the left. He created three different 30-second exposures from the same spot and then blended them together to create one composite image containing multiple bursts.
