It’s not every day that an 18 year-old’s school photography project makes headlines, but that’s exactly what happened to Shea Glover, a student at Chicago High School For the Arts. One of her courses required an independent project, so Glover decided to create a video montage of “things she found beautiful.”

Glover used a Canon EOS Rebel T5i to shoot the footage of her peers, which she then compiled into an independent study film for her “Integrated Arts” course.
“[The project] evidently turned into a social experiment halfway through,” said Glover. “My intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”
