If you were born before the turn of the century and remember the good old days of film, prepare yourself for a bit of nostalgia. This cool one-minute short from Robert Marshall of Round One Films will bring it all back for you:
In just over a minute Marshall captures just about every sound associated with film photography—from the opening of the box all the way through to hanging the film up to dry after developing them. Why? Well, as he says on Vimeo,
“As we rapidly slip into a purely digital age it’s nice to remember where it all started and why it is so great.”
It may not be exactly “where it all started,” but it sure is an incredible trip down memory lane.
Beautifully captured!
