This pic was taken when we went camping last June at Mono lake. One of the most beautiful places where you can enjoy the night sky in all its glory. I went in search of the tufa structure in the night as the foreground subject for my milky way shot, but I wasn't able to find the tufas :(. Bugged about it, I just went away clicking just the milky way with absolutely no foreground. I was glad with the result but it wasn't what I was looking for. As we returned to the camping site, I saw our tent sitting right in front of me which made a wonderful foreground subject.
