What a great example of a perfectly timed photograph! During an outing to Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, California, photographer Senthil Balakrishnan caught the sunset at the precise moment it passed by this opening in a rock, creating a superb frame within a frame:
The photographer was insightful enough to create a natural frame around the sunset. (Via 500px. Click images to see full size.)
To capture this beauty, Balakrishnan used a Nikokn D5100. It’s not clear exactly which lens he used, but the focal length was 18mm. He used a shutter speed of 5 seconds at f/22 and ISO 125.
